Winnipeg Conservatory of Music is hiring the following positions in August 2025
Office Administrator
HOURS: 8-12 hours per week (PT) (Flex)
PAY: $16.50-17.50 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Administrator is responsible for the administration of WCM operations. The position will require strong administrative skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to problem solve and work autonomously.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing of building, setting of alarm
- Welcoming students, families and guests to WCM, directing them as needed.
- Answering of phone
- Checking phone messages and mailbox
- Responding to phone messages and emails
- Knowledge of faculty and course offerings
- Register and schedule students for music lessons
- Assist students in withdrawing from lessons
- Welcoming arrivals to WCM
- Photocopying music
- Assist faculty in room set up and general organization
- Communicate lesson changes with faculty verbally and in written email
- Set up and tear down of concert hall and classrooms
- Providing support for onsite events
- Light house keeping of bathrooms and studios
- Liaise with accountant
Education
- Completion of High School or GED
- Post-secondary education in related field of work is considered an asset
