Sing – Dance – Act! For youth ages 9-15
This camp is perfect for aspiring young actors and singers! We will focus on vocal technique, choreography, drama games, and prop building. There will also be a performance at the end of the camp open to family.

Meet your Directors:
Mersadie Theissen
Mersadie holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. She is a teacher in the Hanover School division specializing in musical theatre and dance.
Mersadie began studying and performing dance at a very early age. She shares her extensive experience by teaching Tap, Ballet, and Musical Theatre at both the BOSS Dance Academy and the Steinbach Arts Council. She is thrilled to be involved in the WCM Musical Theatre Camp this summer and looks forward to connecting with and inspiring her students!
Sarah Putnam
Sarah holds a BA in English Literature and Theatre, and a BED from the University of Manitoba. Following these degress she completed one year as a Vocal Major at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Music with a focus on performance.
Sarah’s passion for Musical Theatre began many years ago during an encouraging and supportive Grade 7 Performing Arts class. Sarah continues to pass on this sense of supportive community to students. Sarah currently teaches in the Winnipeg School Division (WSD). She has taught elementary school for 7 years where her favourite subjects to teach are Musical Theatre and dance.
