A Musical Theatre Program for grades 4-12
This fun-filled course is for students with a passion for musical theatre! The Winnipeg Conservatory of Music’s Marquee Players is an auditioned musical theatre company for students in grades 4 to grade 12.
Director Grace Hrabi produces a December Cabaret and a full production in early June each year. Students will work on singing, drama games, acting roles, scene work and dancing.
Tuition: The program runs from September to early June. Tuition is $750, payable over 8 installments of $93.75 monthly.
Auditions are held every year, and are open to students in grades 4 through 12. For auditions, please prepare a song and a monologue. In order to schedule an audition for WCM’s Marquee Players, please contact us.
The audition will be a time for the director to get to know each student. Relax and enjoy yourself!
- Sing Your Song. Please prepare a memorized song to be sung without music or with a recorded background track on iPod or cellular phone. There will be no accompanist. A stereo is onsite.
- Recite Your Monologue. Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue or acting piece to be performed from memory.
