Patti Kusturok

Patti Kusturok

Three-time Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle champion Patti Kusturok has turned her passion for Métis fiddling into a career, with 40 years of experience teaching private lessons, small and large groups, workshops, in the school system and at the post-secondary level. Patti is known across the country in the fiddle music world. Her humble demeanour and personable stage presence allows the audience to soak in the music and connect with her in a special way.

Karen Warner

Karen Warner

Karen Warner, a retired teacher, now enjoys spending her time teaching private lessons at Winnipeg Conservatory of Music and substitute teaching for the fiddle programs in the Seven Oaks School Division. While at SOSD, Karen discovered a great love for traditional fiddle music including Cape Breton, Scottish, Métis and Irish tunes.  Directing fiddle groups of young students and organizing and playing in jamborees has been a highlight for her and she continues this tradition as Director of WCM’s Fine Tuners Fiddle Ensemble.

Kaiti Reider

Kaiti Rieder

Farm raised, free run, and organically grown, Kaiti Rieder took her Interlake folk roots to the city where she immersed herself in a career of music performance and pedagogy. Kaiti has taught in diverse environments including public school divisions in groups and private violin and fiddle lessons at Winnipeg Conservatory of Music.  With over ten years of experience, Kaiti strives to tailor lessons to the student to deepen their connection to music and instruments to achieve their personal goals.
